Our Founder
C.J. Jones
Founder & CEO
C.J. Jones founded Wynn Jones Partners after building a career at the intersection of public sector finance and institutional operations. He currently serves as a Fiscal & Operations Analyst with the City of Wilmington's Office of Management & Budget, where he oversees over $500 million in combined operating and capital budgets and supports executive leadership and City Council through data-driven financial analysis and long-term planning.
His background also includes athletics administration and personnel operations at the NCAA Division I level, with roles at the Philadelphia Eagles, New Mexico State University, and the University of Delaware — experience that sharpened his ability to manage complex logistics, evaluate opportunities, and lead cross-functional teams under pressure.
C.J. holds a Master of Arts in Education, Curriculum & Instruction from New Mexico State University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Boston College, where he competed as a Division I student-athlete. He founded WJP to bring this combination of financial rigor, operational discipline, and people-centered leadership to institutions and developers navigating complex projects.
